NATALIA KOKOSALAKI

Founder and Director

Natalia is the founder and director of Kokosalaki|Architecture since 2010. She is responsible for the strategic direction of the studio, driven by her ambition to create opportunities for the studio to design homes, hospitality projects and office spaces in the most interesting and challenging sites. She has a strong international background, having studied and worked in London, the Netherlands, and Spain. She graduated from the Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL, where her final project won the design award from Sir Peter Cook. She continued her studies at Technische Universiteit Delft in the Netherlands, where she received a diploma in Renovation and Historical Restoration, and then went on to graduate with a M.Arch degree in Sustainable Design from the Architectural Association in London. She has worked at the offices of Enrique Miralles Benedetta Tagliabue (2003-2004) in Barcelona, Ellis Williams (2005) in London, and decaArchitecture (2007-2010) in Athens.

Η Ναταλία είναι η ιδρύτρια του γραφείου Kokosalaki|Architecture από το 2010. Είναι υπεύθυνη για τη στρατηγική διεύθυνση του στούντιο, με γνώμονα τη φιλοδοξία της να δημιουργήσει ευκαιρίες για το στούντιο να σχεδιάζει σπίτια, ξενοδοχειακες μοναδες και χώρους γραφείων στους πιο ενδιαφέροντες και απαιτητικούς χώρους . Έχει μια ισχυρή διεθνή εμπειρία, εκπαιδεύτηκε και εργάστηκε στο Λονδίνο, την Ολλανδία και την Βαρκελώνη. Αποφοίτησε από την Σχολή Αρχιτεκτονικής του Bartlett, UCL όπου το έργο της βραβεύτηκε με έπαινο στο σχεδιασμό από τον Sir Peter Cook. Στην συνέχεια απέκτησε πιστοποιητικό ανακαίνισης και αναπαλαίωσης από το TUDelft στην Ολλανδία και μεταπτυχιακό M.Arch στον βιώσιμο περιβαλλοντικό σχεδιασμό στη Σχολή Architectural Association στο Λονδίνο. Συνεργάστηκε με τους Enrique Miralles Benedetta Tagliabue (2003-2004) στη Βαρκελώνη, Ellis Williams στο Λονδίνο (2005) και decaArchitecture (2007-2010) στην Αθήνα.

HARIS KOKOSALAKIS

Project Manager

Haris is taking our projects through to Construction Phase. He studied Civil Engineering at the Polytechnic School of the Aristotle University of Thesaloniki (1993-1999) and specialized in Project Management. He received an MSc in Construction Economics and Management from UCL (University College London) in 2000. His Thesis focused on customization and quality control of construction projects. For the past 20 years he has been involved in construction projects of various scales, as a Project Manager. He, therefore, has achieved an excellent knowledge of the Greek Construction Sector reality and has developed prosperous long-term partnerships with Greek Subcontractors and Procurers.

Ο Χάρης σπούδασε πολιτικός μηχανικός στο Αριστοτέλειο Πολυτεχνείο Θεσσαλονίκης (1993-1999) με ειδικότητα στο Project Management. Αντιλαμβάνεται το ειδικό βαρος των αρχιτεκτονικών προτάσεων μας και διασφαλίζει την ορθή εκπονησή τους στη φάση Κατασκευής. Απέκτησε μεταπτυχιακό MSc στο Construction Economics and Management από το UCL (University College London) το 2000, όπου η διατριβή του επικεντρώθηκε στην προσαρμογή και τον ποιοτικό έλεγχο κατασκευαστικών έργων. Τα τελευταία 20 χρόνια εργάζεται ως Project Manager σε κατασκευαστηκά έργα διαφόρων μεγεθών. Έχει αποκτήσει άριστη γνώση της κατάστασης του Ελληνικού κατασκευαστικού κλάδου και έχει αναπτύξει μακρόχρονες σχέσεις με Έλληνες υπεργολάβους και προμηθευτές.

CHRISTINA KARAVASILI

Senior Architect

Christina studied Architecture at the National Technical University of Athens. During her studies, she received the Second Prize in the nationwide student competition “Paralio Sima” organized by the Hellenic Institute of Architecture. Throughout her studies, she collaborated with prominent academics such as Dimitris Hisaías and Tassis Papaioannou. Since graduating, she has been working at our practice, where over the course of a few years she has developed into a leading presence and a key member of the team. In addition to contributing to the design and development of projects at different scales, she is involved in the permitting and construction documentation departments, office organization, and the practice’s social media. On a personal level, she has a strong interest in the arts and is engaged in painting and photography.

Η Χριστίνα σπούδασε Αρχιτεκτονική στο Εθνικό Μετσόβιο Πολυτεχνείο. Κατά την διάρκεια των
σπουδών της απέσπασε το β’ βραβείο στον πανελλήνιο φοιτητικό διαγωνισμό Παραλιο σήμα του Ελληνικού Ινστιτούτου Αρχιτεκτονικής. Στην διάρκεια των σπουδών της συνεργάστηκε με σημαντικούς ακαδημαικούς όπως ο Δημήτρης Ησαϊας και ο Τάσης Παπαϊωάννου. Από την αποφοίτησή της και έπειτα εργάζεται στο γραφέιο μας οπού με την πάροδο λίγων χρόνων έχει εξελιχθεί σε μια ηγετική παρουσία, έναν συνεργάτη κλειδί καθώς πέρα από τη σύνθεση σε διαφορετικής κλίμακας έργα, συμμετέχει στο τμήμα αδειών και μελέτης εφαρμογής, σε θέματα οργάνωσης του γραφείου και στα social media του γραφείου. Σε προσωπικό επίπεδο ενδιαφέρεται για την τέχνη και ασχολείται με την ζωγραφική και την φωτογραφία.

JASON VAYANOS

Senior Architect

Jason has been central to Kokosalaki|Architecture journey since 2017. Since then, he has delivered a complete range of projects. His aim today is to support Project Architects through the Design Stages, from Site analysis through to Presentation renderings. He received his M.Arch degree with distinction from Pratt Institute in New York. He worked at Pratt as a teacher’s assistant, helping fellow graduate students with 3D software, computational design, environmental controls, and structural engineering. He was involved in the design of projects in New York before he moved back to Greece at the end of 2016, and has been working at Kokosalaki | Architecture ever since. His diverse background involved working as a graphics designer, web and application developer, and commercial representative.

Ο Ιάσονας βρίσκεται στο επίκεντρο του ταξιδιού του γραφείου μας από το 2017. Από τότε, έχει παραδώσει μια πλήρη σειρά έργων. Ο ρόλος του σήμερα είναι να υποστηρίξει τους Project Architects μέσω των Σταδίων Σχεδίασης, από την περιβαντολογική ανάλυση σε ένα εκτός σχεδίου έργου μέχρι την τελική παρουσιασή του. Απέκτησε μεταπτυχιακό M.Arch με διάκριση από το Pratt Institute στη Νέα Υόρκη, όπου επίσης εργάστηκε ως βοηθός καθηγητή και βοηθούσε τους φοιτητές στο μεταπτυχιακό με προγράμματα τρισδιάστατης σχεδίασης, παραμετρικό σχεδιασμό, περιβαλλοντικό σχεδιασμό, και στατική μηχανική. Ήταν μέλος σχεδιαστικών ομάδων σε διάφορα έργα στην Νέα Υόρκη πριν γυρίσει στην Ελλάδα στο τέλος του 2016, και δουλεύει στο γραφείο Kokosalaki | Architecture από τις αρχές του 2017. Έχει εργαστεί ως graphics designer, web developer, και εμπορικός αντιπρόσωπος.

ROZINA CHRISTODOULATOU

Senior Architect – Permit Consultant

FOTEINI FIAMPOLI

Architectural Designer

Fotini Fiampoli holds a dipoma from The Department of Architecture of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She was worked in architectural firms in Athens, such as Oktana and Molior Architects and she did an internship at 2a+p/a associates in Rome. She is mostly experienced in architectural competitions and residential projects. During her studies and until today, she is interested in experimenting with new and different ways of approaching architecture, either through different ways of representation, or different perspectives, such as philosophy, sociology, art etc. Her hobbies include scenography and photography.

Η Φωτεινή Φιαμπόλη είναι απόφοιτος του Τμήματος Αρχιτεκτόνων Μηχανικών του Αριστοτελείου Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλονίκης. Έχει εργαστεί σε αρχιτεκτονικά γραφεία στην Αθήνα, όπως οι Oktana και οι Molior Architects, ενώ έκανε πρακτική στο γραφείο  2a+p/a  associates στη Ρώμη. Η εμπειρία της αφορά κυρίως αρχιτεκτονικούς διαγωνισμούς και έργα κατοικιών. Από τα χρόνια των σπουδών της έως σήμερα, την ενδιαφέρει ο πειραματισμός με νέους και διαφορετικούς τρόπους προσέγγισης της αρχιτεκτονικής , είτε μέσω διαφορετικών μέσων αναπαράστασης, είτε μέσω διαφορετικών οπτικών , όπως η φιλοσοφία, η κοινωνιολογία, η τέχνη κ.ά. Στον ελεύθερο χρόνο της ασχολείται με την σκηνογραφία και τη φωτογραφία.

ARTEMIS ANASTASAKI

Architectural Designer

Artemis is a graduate of the School of Architecture at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). As part of an international student exchange program, she also studied at the University of Seville. She subsequently completed her professional internship at Miralles Tagliabue EMBT Architects in Barcelona, where she worked on a diverse range of projects across different scales, from furniture design to urban planning.
Her interest in the broader field of architecture has also led her to participate in artistic projects, particularly in the field of scenography, exploring the various dimensions of design.

Η Άρτεμις είναι απόφοιτη της σχολής Αρχιτεκτόνων Μηχανικών του Εθνικού Μετσόβιου Πολυτεχνείου στην Αθήνα. Παράλληλα σπούδασε στο πανεπιστήμιο της Σεβίλλης στα πλαίσια προγράμματος ανταλλαγής φοιτητών και στη συνέχεια ολοκλήρωσε την πρακτική της άσκηση στο αρχιτεκτονικό γραφείο του Miralles – Tagliabue, EMBT Architects, στην Βαρκελώνη, όπου ασχολήθηκε με ποικίλα έργα διαφορετικής κλίμακας, από σχεδιασμό επίπλων μέχρι αστικό σχεδιασμό.
Παράλληλα, το ενδιαφέρον της για το ευρύτερο φάσμα της αρχιτεκτονικής την οδήγησε να συμμετάσχει σε καλλιτεχνικά έργα, όπως στον τομέα της σκηνογραφίας, διερευνώντας όλες τις πτυχές του σχεδιασμού.

MARIANA KOFAKI

Project Architect

Mariana is an architect with extensive professional experience in architectural design and the development of complex projects, ranging from residential and corporate spaces to large-scale public and urban interventions. As a Project Architect, she coordinates design teams and oversees the organization and development of complex projects throughout all stages of their design and implementation. Her experience spans from concept development and architectural design to permitting and the preparation of construction documentation, with a strong focus on design consistency, attention to detail, and effective collaboration with consultants, partners, and clients. She graduated from the National Technical University of Athens and completed part of her studies at ISCTE – Instituto Universitário de Lisboa through the Erasmus programme. During her studies, she distinguished herself in architectural design, building construction, and construction detailing.

Η Μαριάννα είναι αρχιτέκτονας με πολυετή επαγγελματική εμπειρία στον αρχιτεκτονικό σχεδιασμό και την ανάπτυξη σύνθετων έργων, από κατοικίες και εταιρικούς χώρους έως μεγάλης κλίμακας δημόσιες και αστικές παρεμβάσεις. Ως Project Architect, συντονίζει ομάδες σχεδιασμού και αναλαμβάνει την οργάνωση και εξέλιξη σύνθετων έργων σε όλα τα στάδια του σχεδιασμού και της υλοποίησής τους. Η εμπειρία της εκτείνεται από την ανάπτυξη της αρχιτεκτονικής ιδέας και τον σχεδιασμό έως την έκδοση αδειών και την εκπόνηση κατασκευαστικών σχεδίων, με έμφαση στη σχεδιαστική συνέπεια, την προσοχή στη λεπτομέρεια και την αποτελεσματική συνεργασία με μελετητές, συνεργάτες και πελάτες. Είναι απόφοιτη της Σχολής Αρχιτεκτόνων Μηχανικών του Εθνικού Μετσόβιου Πολυτεχνείου και έχει πραγματοποιήσει σπουδές στο ISCTE – Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, στο πλαίσιο του προγράμματος Erasmus. Κατά τη διάρκεια των σπουδών της, ξεχώρισε για τις επιδόσεις της σε μαθήματα αρχιτεκτονικής σύνθεσης, οικοδομικής και κατασκευαστικής λεπτομέρειας.

DESPOINA TSIRONI

Architectural Designer

Despoina studied architecture`at the University of Patras and received her degree in 2007. She has extensive experience in residential architectural design, exterior and landscape design, and project management. She is particularly interested in studying historical monuments and sites, from Roman and Byzantine times to modern times, with work experience at Departments of Antiquities throughout Greece. She is a postgraduate student majoring in Monument Protection, with personal interests in reading, painting and mountaineering.

Η Δέσποινα σπούδασε στη Σχολή Αρχιτεκτόνων Μηχανικών του  Πανεπιστημίου Πατρών και έλαβε το δίπλωμα το 2007. Έκτοτε απέκτησε μεγάλη εμπειρία στην αρχιτεκτονική μελέτη κυρίως κατοικιών και εξωτερικων χώρων/κήπων και στην οργάνωση και διαχείριση έργων. Έχει ιδιαίτερο ενδιαφέρον  στη μελέτη ιστορικών μνημείων και συνόλων, της ρωμαϊκής, βυζαντινής και νεότερης εποχής, με εργασιακή εμπειρία σε Εφορείες Αρχαιοτήτων ανά την Ελλάδα. Είναι μεταπτυχιακή φοιτήτρια με αντικείμενο την Προστασία Μνημείων, με προσωπικά ενδιαφέροντα το διάβασμα, τη ζωγραφική και την ορειβασία.
